A quick blog post to highlight my humble mandala beginnings... Got my sketchpad, $1 compass, ruler and some colored pencils.
My first mandala attempt was actually a freehand sketch (before the $1 compass purchase). I followed a design from Pinterest, which I will link to shortly.
For my second Mandala, I used a compass and followed a YouTube video. Here are the various stages (still haven't finished yet).
