Here's the third mandala of my 20% project. I was inspired by and guided by the YouTube video "A Mandala (And Drawing Mindsets)" by artist Peter Draws (video embedded below).
I really enjoyed creating this one. Something about the clean white and black lines was very meditative to work on. I also really got into learning and playing around with compass constructions. In hindsight, I have no idea how I did all those constructions. Many of them just came about organically while in the design and trying to figure out what I needed at the time. I would be interested to see what I could recreate from scratch or memory next time :) I'd also like to invest in a 360 degree protractor and a t square craft ruler, so that I'm not having to construct everything via compass.
